All of your social media lovers know how powerful reddit and digg are! Voting and submitting interesting links, news, videos has always been very interesting. Another boom in the online world happened when a mix of instant messaging, email, Facebook, and text messaging – Twitter, started to rise quickly.

Another star to shine on the social media sky could be Twittley. Twittley looks like a mixture of twitter and reddit to me. As their about page says twittley is first Twitter social news website made for people to discover and share content trough Twitter network, by submitting links and stories, and voting and commenting on submitted links and stories.

This sounds very cool for sure, but let me tell you how is this achieved. Just like reddit and digg there are categories, a front page, new submissions, upcoming submissions and you can vote on then anytime. When you vote a link up, a short message will be sent with a title and a link you voted to all your twitter followers! This is possible because twittley was developed using the twitter API.

Webmasters, imagine thousands of people visit your link just like on reddit and your link seen by thousands of twitter users!

Here are some caluculation to show you how powerful this app is, and how it could be better social media tool then already proven gigants like reddit, digg, or a very popular experiment in communication – twitter.

Let’s say 100 people vote and visit your link.
Every person that voted up your link has 100 followers average on twitter.
That means you will socialize with 10100 people!!!

Everyday we can see submissions with over 1000 votes on reddit – let’s hope this baby will be as popular as reddit too and we will have more fun sharing and enjoying our online life even more!

Watching a concert on TV is just not the same as actually being in the audience, for sure. But concert tickets are becoming more and more expensive and hard to find.  It would be great to see more live music at a discounted price, or even for free, right?

Here are some tips for buying cheap concert tickets:

-Try to listen to your favorite radio stations often. Sometimes they give tickets away free if you are the right caller to phone them first. LAradio is giving away Los Angeles concert tickets very often!

-If you are going alone to the concert, or not to sit next to or near a friend during a show, you can wait for a singleton. This method is rather popular and nice way of getting cheap tickets for only one ticket in a venue with assigned seats. Put your budgeted amount in cash into your pocket, and in the other one put some extra cash. Ask people that sell tickets how much they cost, and if its too much say you are on a budget. Most of the sellers will sell it cheaper if not, try to offer your extra money (for drink ), and that will probably help you get the ticket.

-Try a ticket broker, like concerttickets.soundchronicle.com, on the day of the concert. Many times the broker will sell at a loss to recoup some of their investment if the show didn’t sell out.

I recently started an image hosting site, and after i spent too much money on AdWords with bad results I decided to try something else with this new site. I opened an account on Facebook ads, added my credit card in few easy steps and I started filling ad setup wizard.

Facebook makes it very easy to target specific audience. You can easily choose demographics and interest groups.

It’s great that beside title and description you can add your 110×80px banner. Also, you can choose if you want to run Cost Per Click or Cost Per Mille campaign.

I started with a CPC campaign and massive USA audience but results were a total disaster. I got 100,000 impression and one single click. I thought everyone needs an image hosting site, and that they would click my banner instead typing the url of their favourite site.

Next, I increased CPC from $0,10 to 0,25$ but it didn’t help at all. Then I choose to target USA audiance that’s interested in gossip, celebrity, images, pictures, and entertainment, because those people need image hosting very often.

100,000 impression passed without any clicks again so i had to increase CPC to 0,4$. Next day i’ve looked my stats and saw i got around 500,000 impressions, 189 clicks and i spent $68.31. I checked admin panel on imgbig.com I saw just one pic was uploaded, but who knows maybe they just bookmarked it.

I will try to improve my campaign on Facebook because targeting options are endless. I recommend you split some money for advertising on Facebook and start experimenting now.
